As dearly spelt out by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) in Nigeria,
which the Regulatory body by law of all Colleges of Education, the vision of this Institution include the production of:
1. Trained manpower in the applied sciences, technology and commerce at the sub-professional level
2. Persons with the technical knowledge and vocational skills necessary for industrial, agricultural and general economic development of the country.
3. Competent teachers in technical fields for primary and junior secondary school classes in accordance with 6-3-3-4 system of education in Nigeria.

It is the mission of the college not only impacting theoretical knowledge but also giving greater emphases to practical skills and experience so that the “finished products” of this College would not only be gainfully employed as teachers but could also create and generate jobs, having received training in science, technical, Vocational and Computer Technology among others.
