ASCETA: A Huge Construction Site
Barely 6 months after the Provost, Philips O. Nto Ph.D. FASN made the pronouncement of the various blocks that would be erected in the College making it a huge construction site, he fulfilled his promise through the various interventions of the TETFUND and the State Government.
First, it all started in 2016 when he assumed office and met so many abandoned TETFUND PROJECTS; the twin fish pond and fish Mill, and the giant block of the School of Vocational Education.
Within His first year in office, he erased the College’s name in the Black Book of the TETFUND and Completed these Abandoned Projects.
ASCETA is bouncing back to regain its lost glory and must be the best College of Education in Nigeria under my watch.
With that zeal he embarked on another progressive journey of attracting 4 heavy TETFUND Projects:
- The 300 capacity Auditorium,
- The School of Arts and Social Sciences Block,
- The School of Business Education Block, and
- the twin Ultra-modern lavatory
including so many procured Items for staff and students to make teaching and learning easier.
All these were achieved under the transparent administration of Dr. Philips Nto within his 3 years in ASCETA.
As if that’s not enough, currently, some on-going projects in the College: The Ultra-modern College Library, and The School of Science Education Block will be finished within 6 months as the Provost said.
